Biography: British sculptor, Kenneth Armitage held his first solo exhibition in London in 1952. Later that year, his work was part of the Venice Biennale, helping to establish his international reputation. Working mostly in bronze, Armitage creates figure sculptures in a unique style. He has also worked in wood, plaster, paper, and fiberglass.
