Biography:
Stefano della Bella spent the majority of his prolific career working in Florence as an etcher. A leading printmaker of his time, his clients included the Medici family. Bella also spent time working in Rome and Paris. His early style was influence by Callot but he later became enchanted with the naturalism of Rembrandt’s prints.
