Biography:
Derek Boshier received his formal training at the Royal College of Art. He then became one of the leaders of the Pop art movement, showing his work at the Young Contemporaries exhibit in 1961. In 1966, he turned to photography and film before switching back to painting in 1979. Boshier began teaching at the University of Texas in the 1980’s.
