Biography:
Sebastiano Conca first studied under Solimena in Naples before moving to Rome in 1706. He developed a polished Rococo style, producing numerous altarpieces, frescoes, historical, and mythological paintings, Conca returned home to Naples in 1752 and continued painting well into his old age.
