Biography: British artist, Andy Goldsworthy is known for his sculpture and land art. He was born in Cheshire but grew up in Yorkshire. He has also spent a good deal of his time in Scotland. He often uses natural materials, so his sculptures are sometimes temporary. However, Goldsworthy documents his work through photography. He has also done several permanent pieces and published a number of books on his sculpture. Since his reputation has become international, he has done work in multiple countries including Japan and Canada.
