Biography: Kephisodotos was the son of fourth century B.C. sculptor, Praxiteles and the brother of Timarchos. The two sons carried on their family’s sculpture tradition into the third century, but never reached their father’s level of aptitude. They worked independently, but also collaborated on some works in bronze and marble.
