Biography:
The Meleager Painter was a painter in the red-figure technique in Athens from 420 to 390 B.C. Although his true identity is unknown, he is named from his frequent scenes of Meleager and Atlanta. He also painted Dionysis scenes and preferred kraters among other vase shapes.
