Biography: Peter Parler was the leading member of a line of masons who were dominant in the 14th and 15th centuries. He moved to Prague in the 1350’s and was commissioned as the architect for the cathedral. Parler also designed the Charles Bridge over the River Vltava. He also created portrait bust, including one of emperor Charles IV.
