World Wide Arts Resources, the largest arts internet gateway provider since 1995 and Art Marketing Workshops, an online marketing school have joined forces to offer artists worldwide educational opportunities.
wwar.com and absolutearts.com have expanded services by adding a new forum with a focus on marketing. Included in this section are a variety of marketing news articles, a Question and Answer area, and their latest endeavor, an art marketing school where artists, craftspeople, and anyone with a creative product, can enroll in various month long workshops on a variety of art marketing aspects.
artmarketingworkshops.com was founded by Sue Viders, a long time national art marketing consultant and Geoffrey Gorman, an art marketing specialist. The school has enlisted the help of seven instructors from across the United States, all experts in their field. Among the classes to be offered are: "Marketing on the Internet", "Getting into a Gallery", and "Breaking in the Print Marketplace".
Each one month class costs just $79.95. This includes eight lectures (two per week), short and fun assignments (optional), lively group discussions with fellow creative classmates, and of course, answers from the instructor to all questions asked during the month.
"The artists, who are serious about selling their work, love these classes. All the instructors are professional teachers and work in the art world," says Sue Viders who recruited experts with whom she has personally worked and taught. "All of the instructors are marvelous, caring, dedicated individuals who truly want to help artists learn how to better sell their products."
"At Wide World Arts Resources," says Markus Kruse, " we are thrilled to add this service through our site. We have been committed to providing quality arts information to millions of arts enthusiasts all over the world since 1995. In support of the artists who have developed portfolios at absolutearts.com, we have responded to their needs by adding an exciting forum for artists to access more in-depth marketing assistance."
